Indoor

My Indoor Facilities

I have a variety of toys for babies and toddlers of different pre-school ages.

In accordance with the High Scope approach they are separated into different play areas.
I have

  • A large house and toy area with a play kitchen, presses and table,

  • A reading area for reading and relaxing

  • A toy area with lots of floor space,

  • A music and movement area with lots of space for running around,

  • A computer corner,

  • An arts and crafts area that has a gate to keep babies and wobblers out

  • A large easel suitable for 4 children

  • A sand and water play area

  • A dining area.

  • A quiet area for resting, and sleeping

  • A separate sleeping area for those children who still take naps

  • When I have a baby in my care I also set up a baby area.

Indoor Toys

These are some of the toys I have for playing indoors:

  • Baby toys like rattles, rings, activity centre

  • Baby hopper

  • Rocking horse

  • Play kitchen with wooden stove and sink, and pots, pans, play food...

  • Large variety of stuff animals and other soft toys

  • Variety of balls, incl. texture balls, small coloured bean bags

  • Wooden bowling set

  • Cones, skipping rope, etc.

  • Parachute (one for indoors, another one for outdoors)

  • Balloons and hundreds of other items in an extremely well stocked arts & crafts area

  • Hundreds of 'Schleich' animals with wooden fences and trees

  • Barrel full of 'Duplo' blocks, incl. various Duplo animals and figures

  • Construction sets (wooden and K-NEX)

  • Learning clocks (wooden and plastic)

  • Magnets, binoculars, stethoscope (real), bug watching kit

  • Shape sorter (various)

  • Stacking pyramids (various)

  • Bead mazes, beading sets for different ages (4 different sizes)

  • Threading games

  • Peg games (various for different ages and abilities)

  • Scales (different ones, normal and balance scales)

  • Cash register with toy bills and coins

  • Tape recorder with microphone, microphone, phone, etc.

  • Doctor's kit

  • Toy cars of different sizes and Brio lorry, tractor, trailors, crane, magnetic truck, and wooden trains, incl. 2 car mats

  • Large 'Brio' train set

  • Variety of dolls and furniture, clothes, etc. incl. emotion dolls, boy dolls, different coloured dolls,

  • Fully furnished doll house with 6 rooms

  • Jumbo box of beech wood blocks, also other smaller coloured blocks, coloured planks

  • 2 Wooden marble runs ('Brio')- one fixed and one that can be designed

  • Large variety of children's books (hundreds)

  • 3D truck puzzle

  • Costumes for dressing up

  • Pop-up tents & tunnel

  • Variety of wooden and cardboard jigsaw puzzles

  • Large variety of board games suitable from 3 years up also other games like Twister

  • Several different magnetic games such as various Geomag sets such as Geomag Classic, Geomag Gravity, Geomag Panels, Geomag The Original, M-Tic, Magformers (various), Large box of Smartmax (so that all ages have magnetic games to play with)

  • Lots of musical instruments incl. keyboard (see music page)

  • Lots of movement toys incl. 2 balancing bikes, tricycle, ride on train for indoor use

  • Gadget box with phones, empty make up containers, watches and various other bits and pieces

  • Cardboard boxes

  • Sand bag & boxing gloves

  • Educational computer games suitable from 3 years up.

There are really too many inside toys to list and this doesn't even include the extensive arts & crafts selection or the musical instruments.
