Aistear Information Sheets
Aistear Information Sheets for Parents
There are several excellent resources on the Aistear website.
Of course Aistear explained in detail.
(If it should be broken just google it!)
There is also a detailed comparison of Síolta and Aistear; however, there is so much valuable stuff on that website that I cannot link it all just go there and browse it for yourself!
Since Aistear also covers the Junior and Senior Infant Curriculum (and also the Junior and Senior Cycles in Secondary School) there is a fact sheet about Aistear in relation to the Primary School Curriculum. Moreover, there are information sheets for parents:
Try e.g. the Aistear Leaflet for Parents.

Tip-sheet for parents of babies (birth - 18 months) There is no Irish version of this document as yet.
Tip-sheet for parents of toddlers (12 months - 3 years) Irish Version/As Gaeilge
Tip-sheet for parents of young children (2 1/2 - 6 years) Irish Version/As Gaeilge
Moreover, there is lots of information on how you can help your child with reading, writing, developing through play, etc. I highly recommend the Aistear resources.
There are activities for parents to help you learn about matching Aistear's themes and aims, exploring Aistear's learning goals, and using Aistear's sample learning opportunities.
