High Scope

The best place to go to find out anything about High Scope is the High Scope website.

It is an excellent website that explains everything you might want to know about High Scope. Just follow the links in the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

I can particularly recommend the Video Clips section where several short clips illustrating important High Scope principles are available for viewing.

To view the video clips you choose a category on the right and then click on one of the links listed under the "Select an example" heading below the small screen. When the clip has downloaded you click on the play arrow.

I would advise you to start with the video clips under the "Research" heading. There are two very informative clips that explain the High Scope research base very well.

• One is the Lifetime Effects clip about the Perry Research Study showing that the High Scope Pre-school programme has positive outcomes for life.
  

• The other one is the Lasting Differences clip explaining the proven differences in outcomes between High Scope programme and other Pre-school programmes.
