Hi, I am Claudia, a voluntary registered professional childminder outside of Aglish, Co. Waterford.

Easy access: I am situated directly on the R671 - the main Youghal to Clonmel road.

Here are some of my details:

• A mother of 3 children born 1993, 1995, and 1998
  

• A former childcare worker in a crèche, work experience in 2 pre-schools
  

• A Psychology Graduate - Honours Degree in Psychology - QQI Level 8
  

• I have completed a QQI (former FETAC) Level 5 Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education
  

• I have training in Therapeutic Play Skills

• Voluntary notified with the Waterford Childcare Committee
• A Childminding Ireland member since 2006
• Fully insured - see Insurance page for details
• Garda vetted (as well as every adult in my household).
• I have current Occupational First Aid and Paediatric First Aid certificates.
• I have done Child Protection (incl. DLP) and Manual Handling courses
• My car is extra insured for my childminding business.
• Tax registered
• A non-smoker - we're a non-smoking household
• I've been fully High Scope implemented since July 2010
• I am implementing Síolta, the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education
• as well as Aistear, the curriculum framework for children from birth to six years in Ireland.
• Of course I am also aware of the Pre-school regulations and work from them.
